1、 Power system optimization
Power filter
Electrolytic capacitors convert rectified pulsating DC power into smooth DC power through their charging
and discharging characteristics, significantly reducing the interference of power supply ripple (50Hz-100kHz)
on audio circuits and ensuring stable operation of power amplifier chips. For example, parallel connection
of 470 μ F-10000 μ F electrolytic capacitors at the output of a switching power supply can reduce the impact
of high-frequency noise on Class D amplifiers.
Dynamic energy storage
Large capacity electrolytic capacitors (such as 35V/6800 μ F) serve as "energy reservoirs" and can instantly
release 5-10A peak current when playing explosive sound effects or heavy bass, avoiding dynamic compression
distortion caused by power response delay.
2、 Audio signal processing
Coupling isolation
In the audio signal transmission link, 10 μ F-220 μ F non-polar electrolytic capacitors are used as "AC valves"
to block the DC bias voltage (usually 0.6-2V) of the front-end circuit, allowing only 20Hz-20kHz audio signals
to pass through, preventing displacement damage to the speaker voice coil. For example, the coupling capacitor
between the Bluetooth module and the power amplifier needs to have an equivalent series resistance (ESR)
of<1 Ω to maintain high-frequency extension.
Frequency division control
In a three-way speaker, a 2.2 μ F-22 μ F thin film electrolytic capacitor and inductor form an LC frequency
division network to achieve precise frequency point division (such as 80Hz/2500Hz). Capacitors with an error
of less than 5% can ensure phase consistency at medium and high frequencies, avoiding ambiguity in the positioning
of vocals and instruments.
3、 Circuit protection and performance enhancement
Temperature compensation
Using a 105 ℃ high-temperature electrolytic capacitor, the electrolyte remains stable in an environment
of -25 ℃ to+85 ℃, compensating for parameter drift caused by temperature rise in MOS tubes, inductors,
and other components, and maintaining a total harmonic distortion (THD) of<0.05%.
Impedance control
Parallel connection of a 0.1 μ F ceramic capacitor and a 100 μ F electrolytic capacitor at the output of a
Class D amplifier reduces the 20kHz high-frequency impedance from 50 Ω to<1 Ω, improves the 10 μ s
transient response speed, and enhances the Hi Res audio detail restoration capability.
